I am aware of the difference between Gmail's labels vs. Outlook's folders, but I would expect that Gmail does what is necessary to make the folders appear correct over the IMAP connection to Outlook. For example, if I drag a message from Outlook's All Mail folder to Trash, I see that message disappear from the Inbox folder after a short delay. Hence, the trashing of messages is registering on Gmail. It's just that the contents seem completely disconnected from what I see using webmail.

I work in a small company and for the past 2 weeks we've been having issues with customer support Outlook account. The account is used as IMAP in all customer support clients, every time you set up the mail in anyones computer Outlook Stuck on Synchronizing Folders it just sync 30-50GB ost files... And because of the size, this is making the mail simply stop working after one day of normal use, forcing the users to end outlook process to make the mail sync again properly... But only when you close/open the mail again.

IMAP folder sync issue in the new Outlook (moved emails not syncing to webmail)

The responsables of the mail told us to move all the mails from past years to a new account to reduce it's size, but after doing that it doesn't seems to be working. This problem isn't anything new, this happens every year or so, but this time it just isn't getting fixed. By reporting abuse, a moderator will be asked to review the content of this interaction to take further action, if necessary. Some reference links I read thru though I don't fully understand all of what is being discussed. I have not tried the add-on yet I am going to experiment.

• I access the IMAP servers from 3 different machines, and they all see the changes from each other.

My accounts in Mail app stopped to sync post update

It's not until I click on that folder I will then see the 10 and 3 and two second later it will sync and new ones will populate. The issue is; just looking at my email accounts and the numbers shown next to the folders I cant expert Outlook tips by FixTechGuide tell if there is new mail or not until I click on them. I have all desktop alerts turned off I prefer it this way I don't need all of that. I just want to be able to look and see new message. Even if I have an account with zero message I need to click to see the new ones there are no numbers appear.

I checked all 5 of the tabs in this window that expressions is not there. This seems bizarre the email would not populate. A stable connection between your email client and email server depends on the syncing of your IMAP folder.
